Transferring your film and videotapes to DVD is a great first step to ensuring the safety of your home movies. However, it is not a complete solution. By becoming a part of the My Online Memories program your precious memories will be stored on a secure server, safe from natural disasters as well as the normal wear and tear that DVD’s incur over time.

When you choose join My Online Memories ™, our system will now allow you to download your movies to any computer, at no additional cost. The files will be formatted in H.264 MPEG-4 format, perfect for sharing via social media platforms like Facebook and Twitter.

Secure the future of your memories

While the DVD format has lasted a long time, it is not a permanent solution. Think about the formats that came before: 16mm, 8mm, super8, Betamax, VHS, MiniDV…None of them were permanent. The only way to ensure that you will be ready for the next format is by maintaining your files in their digital form like My Online Memories.

It’s Easy!

When you are going through our order process, all you have to do is check the box that says “Safeguard Your Home Movies” on Step 4, Additional Options. When your material has been digitized, we will automatically put it on our secure server for your convenience. And when your subscription comes up, we will automatically charge your card, and renew it for another year. If you decide you no longer want the service, contact us and we will terminate your participation in the program.

Formats:

We will save your home movies in both H.264 and MPEG-2. We cannot provide this service for AVI files at this time.

System Requirements

My Online Memories will operate on most PC and Macintosh internet browsers (example: IE 7 and up, Opera, Firefox 3.x, Safari 3.x, and Google Chrome). The Adobe Flash Player is required.
